Dr. Meredith Owen obtained her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics from the University of Sydney and upon completion was awarded membership into the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Prior to that, she graduated top of her class in dentistry, and, holds an honours degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph in Canada.

Dr. Owen is passionate about education. She has been involved in teaching and mentoring for both the University of Sydney and the University of Newcastle. Additionally, she is a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy and an International Team for Implantology Study Club Director.

Community engagement is important to Dr. Owen. She has served on various committees of the Australian Dental Association and is a past president of the Dental Alumni Society of The University of Sydney. During her time as a student, she helped establish the Australian Dental Students Association, which remains an active organization today.

Dr. Owen currently maintains a private practice located in Newcastle, NSW.
