Dr Rebecca Ellis

BDS (Distn), DCD (Perio)

Dr Rebecca Ellis graduated top of her class with BDS (Distinction) from the University of Otago, New Zealand 2011. In 2015 Rebecca moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete a three-year doctoral degree in Periodontology at the University of Melbourne. During her training she was awarded an ITI research grant for preclinical research in implant dentistry. Her research interests include preclinical and clinical research in immediate implant placement and guided bone regeneration, lending to publications in high-ranking peer review journals.

 

Rebecca is a fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology), and current Australasian Section Chair.

In 2025 Rebecca was awarded fellowship to the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy for her recognition for services to the profession.

 

Rebecca enjoys teaching and presenting both locally and internationally. 

Rebecca holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Charles Sturt University, NSW.

 

Following her specialist graduation Rebecca worked as a specialist Periodontist in full-time private practice in New Zealand before relocating to Sydney in 2022.

Rebecca is the Co-Director of Sydney Periodontics & Implant Centre.
