Terms & Conditions – Australian College of Dental Professionals

1. Scope and Purpose

1.1. This Terms and Conditions document (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) governs the enrolment in, attendance at, and use of any courses, services, facilities, or products provided by the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “ACDP”, “We”, “Our”, or “Us”).

1.2. This Agreement sets out the legal terms, obligations, rights, and responsibilities applicable to any individual or entity (hereinafter referred to as “You”, “Your”, “Participant”) who registers for, attends, or otherwise engages with ACDP courses, services, or products.

1.3. By accessing or using any ACDP service or product, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement including any incorporated policies, as well as any updates thereto.

2. Parties

2.1. “ACDP”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners Pty Ltd, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and third-party providers involved in delivering or supporting its courses, products, and services.

2.2. “You”, “Your”, or “Participant” refers to any individual or authorised representative engaging with ACDP for the purposes of enrolment, purchase, attendance, or access.

2.3. If You enter into this Agreement on behalf of another person or organisation, You warrant that You have the appropriate authority to bind them to these terms.

3. Course Fees and Enrolment

3.1. Course fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing by ACDP.

3.2. Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt and acknowledgement of full payment by ACDP.

3.3. Course places are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis.

4. Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

4.1. Cancellations and Refunds by Participant

     4.1.1. All cancellation, refund, or transfer requests must be made in writing to education@theacdp.com.

     4.1.2. Refunds for course enrolment are provided based on the date the written request is received:

          i. More than thirty (30) days before the course commencement date – ninety percent (90%) refund;
    ii. Between ten (10) and thirty (30) days before the course – fifty percent (50%) refund;
    iii. Ten (10) days or fewer before the course – no refund will be issued.

     4.1.3. Refunds shall be processed only via the original method of payment unless otherwise approved in writing by ACDP.

4.2. Course Transfers by Participant

     4.2.1. A request to transfer to a different course or substitute a participant must be received in writing at least ten (10) business days prior to the original course commencement date.

     4.2.2. Transfers are subject to ACDP’s discretion and may incur additional fees where the new course is of greater value.

4.3. Cancellations or Rescheduling by ACDP

     4.3.1. ACDP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course for reasons including, but not limited to, insufficient enrolments, unavailability of key faculty, or unforeseen operational circumstances.

     4.3.2. In the event of cancellation, You will be offered:

          i. A full refund; or
    ii. A transfer to another course of equal value.

     4.3.3. ACDP is not liable for any indirect or incidental costs incurred by You, including travel, accommodation, or other related expenses.

5. Course Content, Faculty, and Accreditation

5.1. ACDP reserves the right to change course content, learning formats, or instructors as required.

5.2. All ACDP courses are delivered by credentialed professionals including, but not limited to, experts in implantology, prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry.

5.3. Our diploma programs are nationally accredited and designed to align with the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines of the Dental Board of Australia.

5.4. It remains the Participant’s sole responsibility to ensure that CPD activities meet the requirements of their relevant registration authority.

6. Certificates of Completion

6.1. Certificates of Completion will be issued to Participants who:

        i. Attend the entire course; and
  ii. Fulfil all required course participation criteria.

6.2. Certificates will be issued digitally within five (5) business days following course completion.

7. Physical Products and Merchandise

7.1. Physical items including merchandise, kits, and resources may be available for purchase through ACDP.

7.2. ACDP does not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is faulty or damaged on arrival.

7.3. Products sourced from third-party suppliers (e.g., dens-natura) are subject to their respective return policies, and any disputes must be directed to the third-party supplier.

8. Use of Facilities

8.1. ACDP courses may be held at its clinical training facilities, including theatres, simulation labs, and other specialised venues.

8.2. By participating on-site, You agree to adhere to all safety protocols, facility rules, and professional conduct expectations.

8.3. ACDP is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage unless due to its proven negligence.

9. Code of Conduct

9.1. ACDP maintains a strict code of conduct. Behaviour that is deemed:

        i. Disruptive;
  ii. Unlawful;
  iii. Offensive;
  iv. Unsafe; or
  v. Inconsistent with ACDP’s professional standards

may result in refusal of entry or removal from the course without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1. All course content, including materials, lectures, recordings, slides, and documentation, remains the intellectual property of ACDP.

10.2. You may not reproduce, share, distribute, or repurpose ACDP content without prior written permission.

10.3. Limited personal, non-commercial use is granted to enrolled Participants for study and reference only.

11. Privacy

11.1. ACDP collects and uses personal information solely for the purpose of enrolment, administration, certification, communication, and compliance.

11.2. All personal data is processed in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles and ACDP’s Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1. To the extent permitted by law, ACDP disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the use of its courses, products, facilities, or services.

12.2. ACDP’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by You for the relevant course or product.

12.3. ACDP shall not be held responsible for any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of income or professional opportunities.

13. Governing Law

13.1. This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

13.2. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

14. Amendments to Terms

14.1. ACDP reserves the right to amend, revise, or replace this Agreement at any time.

14.2. The most current version will always be made available on ACDP’s website. Continued use of ACDP services, products, or platforms constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
