Join Dr Giacomo Fabbri for Digitally Enhanced Immediates in the Aesthetic Zone.

This intensive 2-day course explores the evolving role of digitally enhanced immediate restorations in the aesthetic zone, focusing on how contemporary digital workflows are transforming restorative and implant dentistry. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM technologies, facially driven treatment planning, and guided surgical protocols to achieve highly predictable aesthetic and functional outcomes with greater clinical efficiency.

The course will examine the clinical advantages of immediate provisionalization supported by digital planning, including improvements in precision, patient communication, soft tissue management, and customization of prosthetic components. Special attention will be given to the management of challenging anterior cases, where aesthetics, biological integration, and patient expectations must be carefully balanced.

Biological principles related to the formation and maturation of peri-implant soft tissues will also be explored, with particular focus on how prosthetic components, abutment design, and implant design can influence these processes.

Through clinical cases and step-by-step workflows, participants will gain practical insights into how digital tools can optimize diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical execution while supporting minimally invasive approaches and enhanced interdisciplinary collaboration.

The course will also discuss current limitations, available evidence, and future perspectives of digitally driven immediate rehabilitation in the aesthetic zone, providing clinicians with practical protocols that can be integrated into daily practice.

DAY 1

THE BASIC PRINCIPLES  FOR A MODERN PROSTHETIC THERAPY THAT COMBINES AESTHETIC, BIOLOGY AND BIOMECHANICS.

The secret to a successful implant-supported prosthesis lies in achieving complete integration of the restoration at every level. Implant restorations involve a series of interfaces that must be optimized to ensure long-term success. These include: the prosthetic interface, the aesthetic interface, the soft tissue interface, and the bone interface. All of these parameters are closely interconnected, and through careful selection of both surgical and restorative protocols, it is possible to optimize their integration. In this regard, a solid understanding of the biological principles surrounding dental implants is essential for making appropriate therapeutic decisions. Furthermore, the choice of materials also plays a key role in enhancing the mucosal seal and achieving natural aesthetic results.

DAY 2

PROSTHETIC AND SURGICAL  STRATEGIES FOR THE BONE AND THE  SUPRACRESTAL SOFT TISSUE COMPARTEMENTS IN CASE OF BONE AUGMENTATION PROCEDURE

The perfect aesthetic integration of the implant-supported restoration depends on three key factors: the diagnosis and prosthetic planning, the evaluation of the bone compartment and its management using the most appropriate surgical techniques, and the evaluation and management of the supracrestal compartment. The latter has gained a crucial role in recent years in the treatment of aesthetic cases, as it is at this level that we must intervene to achieve excellent aesthetics. In managing aesthetic areas, the role of the supracrestal compartment is crucial  for optimizing natural soft tissue integration and avoid soft tissue defects. During this day, this aspect will be addressed, from surgical and prosthetic point of view,  to allow for the safest possible approach to implant therapy in aesthetic zones.
